Refunds and cancellations

CANCELLATIONS FOR WINTER DATA SCHOOL

The cancellation deadline is 20 days before Winter Data School begins. No refunds will be given for cancellations after midday (12:00) on this day. Please submit cancellations by emailing hello@dsacademy.sk. Processing of refunds may take 4 - 6 weeks.

ATTENDANCE SUBSTITUTES

After the cancellation deadline, you are responsible for the full payment. However, we are happy to accept name changes. Please email substitute's first and last name, mobile number, occupation (student / researcher / public sector / private sector) and institution (employer or university) to hello@dsacademy.sk. Additionally, please include your name in the email. After sending this email, you will still be responsible for the payment of the entry fee. Note that it is not possible to substitute tickets with participants from different fee categories (i.e, substitute an Academia ticket with a participant from the private sector).

FAILING TO SHOW UP

If you fail to show up, you must pay for Winter Data School in full, NO REFUNDS will be given.
